Week #5 MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Well I hope everyone had an awesome Christmas!!! I actually enjoyed my Christmas a lot. Very different than every year I have experienced, but that's what made it fun!! Well Christmas eve was a normal day. The only thing different is we had a movie after our Tuesday devotional. So we watched a Christmas movie that I'm not gonna lie was a little weird? Forgot what it was called.. Sorry:) Christmas morning!! Well I wake up to my companion singing and jumping on me. Then she kisses my cheek and says Merry Christmas!! So that woke me up haha right when I got up I got ready and opened all my presents:) I'm so grateful for the people that sent me packages!! Thank you so much. Mom your presents cracked me up haha all my roommates were like haha uhhh? But I was like my mom is the Best mom in the whole world haha after opening presents we went and got to email for 20 minutes.. Kinda sucked because everyone other missionary this week got an hour and 20 minutes and we only got 20 minutes because Christmas was on our Pday? But whatever it's Friday and I get to email so that's good. Um we had the Christmas Talent show after that and I got to say haha very interesting. Some peoples skits I was laughing my head off. There was a kid that balanced a water bottle on his head and was singing and dancing haha so stupid, but so funny. Then there was this magician dude. He was amazing!! Cectpa Cullen was freaking out the whole time haha which made me laugh. But that was really fun to watch. Then of course everyone played piano and violin then all of a sudden this Russian comes on stage and just kills it on the organ. It sounded like a you were in a haunted house or something. Haha he was incredible!! But it was so funny because only a Russian would be a master at the organ!! Anywho that was the talent show. After that we had our Christmas lunch which was the best cafeteria food I've ever had... ha;) and then we had to practice our song in choir before the devotional. The song we sang was beautiful holy cow!! It's called Where shepherds lately knelt. Beautiful song. The guest speaker was.... Elder Bednar!!!!! I was so stoked. He's probably one of my favorite apostles. His talk was really interesting. He passed out over 200 cell phones and let us missionaries text him questions to his Ipad, and then he would respond to those questions. It was incredible because every question he got, he answered spot on. Great words of wisdom. So that was really cool!! The spirit was incredible. Hmm after that we had a district devotional and then a band came and played Christmas songs the whole time haha I wrote letters the whole time and then almost fell asleep.. After that we had steak dinners in our rooms. And I thought there was suppose to be two apostles, but I guess not? To end the night we watched the Christmas Tabernacle choir. So I guess that was cool! We got popcorn which made me happy:) Afterwards we got to go back to our rooms and just chilled the rest of the time. I went to bed at 9 haha felt so good! Well ladies and gentlemen that was my Christmas!! Pretty crazy huh?!? haha Um other than that nothing to exciting has happened this week. Cectpa Kunzestova is gone for sure. She can't work at the MTC anymore so that was really sad. I'll send pictures next week.. But yeah other then that life is good!! Me and my teachers just laugh 24-7 I honestly have not stopped laughing since Wednesday!! It's actually helps so much!! Well hope everyone is good. Love you all!! Have an awesome New Years!!! BYE

Merry Christmas Family:):)

It feels so weird waking up and not having to go bug your parents about opening presents;) Haha it's ok though I woke up to Cectpa Cullen singing and she came and jumped on me haha so that got me in the spirit! Today we only get 20 minutes to email.. But I should be able to get on another time this week since our P day is suppose to be today. Today seems like a fun day!! We have 2 apostles coming and then a talent show!! Probably watch a movie and then tonight we get a little time to relax. So it should be a good day!! I loved my presents hahaha mom you crack me up. Some of the stuff you got me is so random, but I LOVE them:) It's so funny because me and the Cectpa's in my room are getting way into four square so we've decided to make a team and the tie die shirts will be perfect:)

Sounds like you guys had an awesome Christmas eve. I'm super sad that I wasn't able to be there.. But I will be in 2 years:) All the gifts everyone is getting sounds like so much fun! I bet Chan loves his!! I've been thinking about him a lot!! He's such a stud, except he needs to be good to Mom and Dad because they're actually do know what there talking about!!!! haha sorry chan:) Did you guys get my Christmas cards? I hope so?!?! Sorry that was the best I could do. I Hope you like them though:)

I want to thank you for fasting for me!! It really has helped. I'll be writing the family email sometime this week, but nothing to exciting happened. But it was a lot better week so that was good!! I had a break down yesterday because I was so home sick, but then my Companions let me listen to my music, I said a prayer, and I immediately felt better!!! And I'm doing a lot better this morning! So just going to enjoy Christmas in the MTC because it will never happen again:) Plus I heard in Russia they don't really celebrate Christmas and when they do it's like January 6th or something? But hey I'm ok with that! Um language is coming.. We taught a lesson this week with sasha and I felt so good about it because I actually talked:) without notes!! So that was pretty awesome :) My comps are good. We had a little argument yesterday but we figured it out. The Australian has left me alone so that's good haha I think he got the hint. My confidence is building back up so that's good. I definitely know what you mean about heavenly father breaking you down... He has been doing that for me. But I completely understand why!! I've learned so much this month!! I can't wait to be who I will be when I come home. My life will be forever changed. Yano I don't know my reason here, but I do know that I am suppose to be here. I made a promise to heavenly father that I would do his work and know I have begun this journey and it is incredible. Even though it is the hardest thing I've ever done, it will definitely be worth it in the end. I have four more weeks in the MTC so I got to live it up:) and then I enter into the real world.. oh boy.. haha I'm excited though:)

Well I hope you guys have an awesome Christmas. Know that I am thinking of you and I love you all sooooo much!!!! So much!!!!! Tell meg I said hi and that I love her too:) I'm so jealous you get to talk to her... Kills me... But thanks again for all your support and love. I thought about it yesterday and I don't know what I would do if I didn't have my familys support. Hope everyone is healthy and the dogs are still smelly? haha I wish I could call you but yeah I will be able to in 3 weeks:) Love you guys. Have a Merry Christmas!!! and I will talk to you on Thursday or Friday:)
