Week #8 Last Week in the MTC!

I can't believe I leave to Russia in 4 days!!! That is nuts!!! Next P-day I'll be in Moscow, Russia:) Alrighty well your probably wondering what I'm feeling so I'll tell you.. I am scared to death, but super pumped at the same time!! I don't really understand how you can be both, but I definitely am. It's so weird to think that I will be living in a different country for the next 16 months. But I know it will be a party:) I think the thing that I'm most scared about is just talking to people.. Just because I know for a fact my Russian is not that good. So contacting on the street is going to be very crazy for a little while. I got an email from my Mission President last week that said " Get ready to go contacting in Red Square the next day!" Ahhhhh that's so crazy!! But It's gonna be good I know It will. I will look like a complete idiot and not even care so it's all good:)

So far it's been a good last week. After emailing on Thursday we got to go to the temple FINALLY!! Gosh I can't tell you how good it felt to be back in the Celestial room. That is probably one of my favorite places in the entire world. I had so much peace and comfort. It was awesome!! And we get to go today as well. Last time for a year and a half... Super sad, but it's all good!

On Sunday I had the opportunity to talk in Sacrament... in Russian.. Ha... I'm going to be completely honest with you. It wasn't good, but it wasn't bad:) Haha that's how I felt about it! Everyone of course was like oh my gosh you did so good! But you know they are just saying that to make you feel better. But It's all good! At least I did it!! That's all that matters haha

So we had a Tuesday night devotional as usual and guess who decided to show up? Elder Bednar!! He came again to speak haha it was unbelievable. He said he had to come back and answer some more questions because apparently he received over 1,000 text messages!! Every question he answered is what I needed to hear! He talked about Faith and Fear! And to always act no matter what! Someone asked, why do some people have harder trials then others? His answer was because Heavenly Father knows and trusts you to learn the lesson. I thought that was really interesting!! God trusts you to learn the lesson. And he also knows that your the only one that can handle it. So that was pretty cool! The best part about his whole talk though was when he bore his testimony about the Book of Mormon. It was probably the strongest testimony I have ever heard. Yano I always new the Book of Mormon was true. I basically believed in it because everyone else did. And when I got out here I was really questioning do I believe in it? I've been praying to know if it really is true and heavenly father answered my prayer. As Elder Bednar was bearing his testimony my heart was burning the whole time!! I had never felt anything like it before. Words can't even describe what I was feeling. But I do know now that the Book of Mormon is the word of god. And I'm so grateful that I know it is true.

Well yesterday was a pretty eventful day!! It was fun because we got to Host the new missionaries that came in! I got to take a couple sisters to get all their stuff and then drop them off into their classrooms. It was so fun to see all these new missionaries coming in. It made me think of my first day... haha I'm so grateful I never have to do it again.. haha but I tried my best to make the sisters feel welcome and know that they are going to kill it! That night we also had the opportunity to be a missionary for the " How to begin teaching example" which is basically when you teach a lesson and all these new missionaries are in the room watching you. My teacher signed us up for it because he thought we would do really good! I'm not gonna lie at first I was mad because I didn't want to do it, but afterwards I really enjoyed it so that was good!! So yeah we did that and it was fun!!

Well that was about it for the week. We have in field orientation tomorrow so that should be fun! But yeah it's been an awesome experience in the MTC. I've absolutely loved it! I'm sad to go, but I'm ready to start my journey:) I can't wait to talk to you all when I'm in MOSCOW!! AHHH k love you bye:)
