Week #6 HAPPY 2015

Privet!!! Family and Friends

Can't believe it's 2014... So weird?! But so exciting!! Well I have to tell you I partied so hard last night.. I... went to bed at 10:30 Wuhoo haha that ok though:) I was fine with it. I enjoy my sleep:) Well I must say it was a pretty normal week here at the MTC. I'm on my 7th week which is so weird to me. I've been really sick the past 5 days, but I've been pushing through. On Sunday me and Cectpa Noorda were called to be Sister Training Leaders!! (basically sister zone leaders) Which I am super pumped about. We are getting 17 new missionaries today! 8 of them are Cectpa's so it's gonna be fun. I'm glad to finally get some more missionaries. Are zone was tiny for a little while. So yeah my job is basically just make them happy and help them out so it should be fun!! One of the Cectpa's that is coming in I went to school with, so I'm pretty stoked that she is in my zone. Well after being called to be a Sister training leader we had to go to like 5 meetings on Sunday... But I must say God knows what he is doing... The last meeting I went to was one for all the new Sister training leaders and zone leaders. The person conducting it was Ethen's mission president, President Lindhal. The whole time he was teaching I had a feeling that I needed to go up and talk to him. I remember Eth telling me how close he was to his Mission President so I wanted to introduce myself to President Lindhal and explain to him who I was. So the meeting was over I walked up to him and shook his hand. I asked him if he knew who Elder Roberts was and introduced who I was. He immediately smiled and said I love Ethen. Then he started crying and said Ethen was one of the best missionaries I have ever had. I started getting a little choked up haha then he smiles and says lets call him. Yeah I want you to call him!! My heart immediately dropped and I was just like are you serious???? I could not stop smiling!!! He said come by my office on Tuesday and we will call him... So Tuesday comes around and me and my companions meet with him. He sat us down and just asked how we were doing. Then he gave us so encouragement and some tips. He then explain to us that the mission is a game and it's up to us to play the game and win it!! He had a lot of good words of wisdom. I can see why Eth just loves him!! Anyways we got done talking and he took me in the room and asked how I was doing. I told him how I was doing and then we got to call eth. The whole time my heart was pounding haha I was sooooo excited. While President Lindhal was dialing the number I thought... Wow its that easy to call home... Weird;) hahaha Eth answered and President Lindhal told him who he was with then handed the phone to me. I can't explain how grateful I was to hear Eth's voice. It felt so good to hear a familiar voice. The whole time I was talking to Eth I could not stop smiling!!! And of course there were times when I was crying, but Eth definitely helped me so much. He probably doesn't even realize it. But the things he told me is what I needed to hear. I am sooooo grateful so grateful that I had that opportunity to call my cousin. Who else gets to call their cousin in the MTC?? Not very many. It was a blessing. God does answer your prayers because he has answered mine. I have to say that was the highlight of the week. Other then that not much has happened. I think my main goal for the year of 2014 it to loose myself in the lords work. I'm sick of thinking of myself and poor me. The best way to love is to serve. So If I'm going to love the people in Russia and my companions I have to serve. I've been praying for opportunities to serve and what do you know... I've been called to be a Sister training leader:) See he does answer prayers!! Well I hope everyone had a great New Years!! This week was awesome, minus the sick part, but it's all good!! I'm almost out of here so I better live the MTC experience up;) Love you all!! BYE!!
