Well I think I would like to start this email off by saying... I am getting Transferred!!! I don't know if that's like a happy or sad thing?? Haha I'm like super stoked, but then not at the same time. I was honestly shocked when I got a call from President because I had only been with my new companion for a transfer? But I guess god needs me somewhere else! I have been called to serve in Sokoniki, which is in Moscow:) Part of my area is like Red Square which I'm so pumped about!! I'm excited to serve in the city.. God knows me to well:) haha So yeah I'm going to be out of Zgrad on Wednesday.. Nuts!!
Well I think the best thing that happened this week was the fact that ELDER BEDNAR came to Moscow:) The cool thing is, is I got to hear him speak 2 times while I was in the MTC and when he came for the weekend I got to hear him speak 3 more times. The best part is, is he's my favorite apostle! So it was awesome:) The first time we heard him speak was Saturday Night. He talked about the Character of Christ and putting off the Natural Man and Women. I really enjoyed this talk. They have a recording of a similar talk that he gave that you can watch in the MTC. I remember watching it and loving it, so when he started talking about the Character of Christ I got pretty excited! But he talked about how the world says to feed the Natural man while the gospel wants to change the natural man. We all know that the Natural Man is an enemy to god. Now what is the natural man? The natural man is selfish and self centered. I want it and I want it now. When the Natural Man turns in The Gospel turns out. He talked about the story about Christ when he was getting tempted by the Devil. Every attack towards Christ challenged his character and who he was. But he never gave in. He fasted for 40 days and was probably starving.. I couldn't even imagine. But yet when the angels came to minister unto him he heard John the baptized was in need to he had them minister unto John.. not him. There's nothing about self that the savior did. He turned out to help John. When Christ is hungry he helps feed others who are hungry. When he suffers, he prays for others to have peace, not him. He always turns out to others inside of saying pour me. Why me. Put off the Natural man and Women and become a saint. Through Christ, if we have faith in him, and want to be better we can. The Atonement is not just for wiping off a clean slate for doing something bad. It's for strength, it helps us do what the natural man could never do. So my message to you is to not think about yourself. That is what the natural man wants. Turn outwards and serve others. Think about others, before you think of yourself. Turn out to bless others.
That was one of the things that stood out to me. I don't have time to write down Sunday morning and the Missionary conference that we had with him, which was soooo amazing. Holy cow. I learned so much I don't even know where I could begin?? Maybe I will write down a little bit of it next week though.. So you don't get to hear all of it;) He's awesome though. I feel like I'm a new person now because of him. I got to shake his hand twice too which was way awesome:) I know that he is an apostle of god. I felt it. And I can't deny it. The spirit he had with him is indescribable. I will never forget it! I love you all:) have a great week:)

So this week was pretty good. I think the beginning of it I was struggling. We literally went contacting so much in the hot blazing sun with no success.. but by the end of the week things picked up and it turned out to be a great week:) So as you know Elder Bednar came.. Mom.. I'm a new person;) Haha he's amazing! And I got to listen to him 3 times while he was here so that was awesome. Also.. I'm getting transferred!!!!! Into Moscow:) haha I'm like super sad.. because I love the people here in Zgrad. But I'm super pumped because the place I'm serving in Moscow is like right on red square and stuff. So I'm excited for that!! God knows me:) haha how was your week? When are you going to Hawaii?? I don't know what else to say about this week. My testimony has grown so much though this past week. It's incredible what an apostle of god can do in 2 hours. Haha I believe you go into the meeting.. and you come out a different person. But anyways we had 4 investigators come all the way into Moscow for stake conference so that was awesome. Valintena so badly wants to get baptized.. she just has to stop smoking.. I'm super sad that I'm leaving too because I won't be here for that.. Dasha gave me something to me because I'm leaving.. She's so awesome! I gave her my Godfrey Clan shirt because I knew she would love it:) But yeah other then that nothing new! You'll probably hear all about this in the weekly letter.. But yeah:) Also it's super hot here.. we didn't not plan for this;) so I might have to go shopping once I get to Moscow for some short sleeve shirts.. so hot! haha anyways I love you mom:) I hope you have a great week k!!
