Week #40 An Exciting Halloween

Well sounds like everyone had an exciting Halloween!!!! Mine was pretty exciting in a missionary way.. But I have a story are you ready!!!!!

So this was Halloween night and we were on our way to a members house. These two ladies get in front of us as we are exciting the metro to go up the escalators. The both have these two huge bags. So there like standing kinda diagonal from us if that makes sense? So my companion is in front of me and the lady is diagonal from me and her friend is a little ahead diagonal from my companion. Anyway we are going up the escalator and the first lady totally falls down and knocks her friend over!! My companion tries to catch the one closest to me but could.. and so with my reaction I moved to the side and put my hands out and completely saved right where her head was about to hit the stair of the escalator.. I was in complete shock because of how perfect it was.. I saved her life;) just kidding but her head would have slammed onto the metal stair ehhhhhhh so that was way cool!!! Haha yeah that's my story. People falling down the escalators... Scary!! 

Dad, You know how you talked about the current bush video?? Well I have that on our ipod and I watch it EVERYDAY!! It has what's helped me get through a lot of things. and so when you said that I was freaking out. It's such a good video. You should watch the one by Elder Holland, the wrong roads or something like that?? It's really good!!! But anyways faith.. Hmmm that is a hard thing for me that I still can't grasp. But I would have to say a lot of it is hope. And action. Because without action, faith is dead. Lately, I've been trying to figure out the whole faith thing because our mission is trying to reach 130 baptisms before the end of the year. And President says we will all see a baptism. Well, I feel like with what we have right now there is no way! But then I think, no... miracles can happen!! If it is part of God's will, it will happen. But then I think, well if it's up to God's will, what's the point of having faith?? But I know we have to show God that we are willing to put our effort into it too instead of just sitting there and thinking ok whatever you want, Heavenly Father!! So it's all about action and doing what you think will show God your faith and then it's up to him what he will do. But you also have to have the faith that if it doesn't happen, it's ok too. I don't know if this is making sense... what are your thought's?? 

This Monday and Tuesday are a holiday in Russia so we aren't allowed to use transport... which I have no idea what we are going to do because transport is how we get to everywhere!! So that will be exciting!! Um other then that, missionary work is good. We are continuing to work with less actives and we possibly have new investigators to work with. Went contacting with an investigator last night which was quit exciting!! Sometimes I wish I was Russian. Maybe one day;) Anyway hope you have a great week! love you all!!

Hey Mum!!!!

Well this week went pretty well!! It was definitely a little warmer then last week.. Haha I got way sick though, but it's ok ha I just endure through it yano?? It's awful being sick on the mission because I don't feel like I can lay down and rest and waste gods time yano.. but that's ok! Um so we couldn't meet with Masha or Refina this week!! I don't know what to do with Masha.. She doesn't really have time for us anymore.. but will keep trying! we might be meeting with refina this week so will see!! We had 4 people at church on Sunday which is HUGE!!!! One of them I met a little bit ago at an activity and she is a friend of a member so he invited her. That was way cool!! I get transfer calls this weekend.. so next week is transfers!! I will possibly be leaving will see???? As for Halloween.. haha we went to Liana's house and made your sugar cookies! She loved them by the way.. And then she helped us buy tickets for our culture night this week:) So were going to see beauty and the beast in Russian!! That will be way fun!! Were doing that on Friday!! And then after that we went and taught an 8 year old to prepare her for baptism. I gave her some coloring books and playdough! She loved it!! haha then that night we played with those glow in the dark balloons:) That's about as fun as it got:) Haha but it's ok!! I only saw two people dressed up.. I was so bummed!! But I yelled at them HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! haha then they were like YEAH!! hahah so yeah:) How was your week though?? Well I guess I'll read all about it!! I love you so much!!
