8 Month Mark!!

Well I must saying I'm completely bawling right now seeing all those pictures of meg.. I can't believe she is home.. She is beautiful!!!! Ah it kills me, but it makes me want to keep working and finish strong like her. Well I think I want to talk about my Visa trip! Which was the exact same day as when meg was flying home!! So basically we were both on planes, but she was going home and I was going.. To Latvia and back to MOSCOW RUSSIA! haha so you can realize how hard that must have been thinking about your sister going home while you still have 9 more months to go.. But I think Heavenly Father knew that was going to be a hard day for me so he gave me some miracles..

The night before was really fun!! I got to see all the sisters that I was in the MTC with. Especially Sister Fehlberg. Ah that was the best. She was like my best friend in the MTC. We ended up talking tell probably 3 o'clock in the morning which probably was not smart know that I had to get up in 2 hours.. But anyways woke up at 5 and headed for a train to the airport. Hooked up with the elders and off we were. We got on the plane and I was seated next to this man. I thought oh good I don't have to talk to him.. haha I can just sleep;) But of course like always my mouth began to open and I just started talking to him. Turns out he is from Adelaide Australia!!! At first when I began to talk to him he was really cold? He knew who we were and he just was not interested. But I kept asking about him and what he was doing blah blah blah and by the end he had a glow in his eyes!! We ended up talking the entire plane ride. Not specifically about the gospel, but things came up here and there. I was grateful though to just ask about him and listen to him. I hope now that he won't have a bad feeling about mormons and what not:) So that was way cool! It made me really miss Australia haha but yeah:) On the plane ride home I tried to sleep.. I was so dead.. But I couldn't.. When we got back into Moscow we had to go to the office. To pick up some stuff. After that me and sister Noorda (MTC companion) had to head back to my area to meet our companions. There was a horrible metro crash that day.. I don't know if you heard about it, but a lot of people died and what not. So we had to take the bus. We had no idea where we were going so sister Noorda tries to ask for directions from this lady. The lady could not understand one thing she was saying. So I decided to give it a try.  And she completely understood everything I was saying. We ended up talking to her for a sec and she was so nice to me!! It made me think that yeah I may speak simple Russian, Sister Noorda tries to make things a little complicated, but she speaks great! But it was cool to think she was able to understand me. And I always thought sister noorda spoke way better then me!! So anyways haha that happened then we got to the church building, switch companions, and we had a lesson.. Mind you I'm exhausted and now I'm suppose to do a lesson. The lesson was... ha yeah.. she was talking about energy and all this stuff? My head was about to explode!! I felt so sick.. and after we had english group.. So haha we go to english group and I had about had it. I wanted to go to bed. My head hurt. Yano:) But there was this girl that I had never seen before. So I decided I needed to talk to her after english group. I guess during the spiritual thought she was crying and what not. It was her first time to english and she loved it!! And I asked her if she would ever been interested in meeting with us or what not. She gave me the biggest hug and told me she would love too!!! That does not happen in Russia!! Russians don't hug you!! And she like grabbed my hand and said please call me:) Ahhhh I was so excited!! So yeah haha that was my miracle day. Lots of things really stood out to me that day that the lord did for me.. So Crazy!!

Also really quick I spoke in church on Sunday!! I thought I was just bearing my testimony, but nope it was a whole talk! And I had nothing! no papers, nothing!! So I just talked to Heavenly Father for a little bit and just prayed that he would fill my mouth with words. I kept telling myself that I can do this, I'm built to do hard things!! So I get up there and I just spoke!! Ended up giving a talk... Don't remember what I said or how it went. All I know is I was not up there alone. :) 

Ps. The subway that crashed is not in my area.. so I don't ride it unless I go up to the office! so know I'm safe and sound:) also I heard about some plane crash in Kiev?? I guess They shot down a plan thinking the russian president was on it or something? But anyways I'm safe don't worrya bout me k!

Well that's my week! Things are starting to pick up which is awesome:) Anywho love you all have a great week!!

Ah man I can't believe meg is home! I was crying looking at all those pictures.. but I'm so happy for you guys and I'm grateful that megs home safe and sound:) I can't wait to hear about your lake powell trip and what not too:) How is she? What is she like?? Ah tell me everything:) As for me things are going good!! My weeks are starting to pick up. We are finding a lot of new people to teach our problem is just getting them really interested! As for a typical day in Russia.. Well we get up work out, get ready, personal study, companionship study, language study, and lunch. Then after that it's based on what we have planned that day if we have lessons or what not. We have english group every wednesday. And the only other thing we have is game night and saturday nights. Not a ton of activities here in Moscow, but that's ok:) So yeah haha that's my days for ya! I am still talking to Elder Blackwell. He call's me every Thursday and we just talk about what I'm working on. Right now we've been talking about angels. I don't know if you got my letter yet? But we've been talking about how I need to pray and asked for the angels to teach me Russian when I sleep. Interesting I know, but how bodies sleep not our spirits. So I'm working on that:) He's helping me a ton!! He called me when I was having a melt down about meg and it helped so much. Liana is awesome!! She is from another part of Russia and she was baptized when she was 11. Her whole family are members which is way cool:) She tells me all the time about pictures you put of facebook and stuff haha I love her! She's becoming a good friend!! I like what you said last week about how I"m serving this mission for me. I think your right! and it's funny that you said that because that's what I was thinking about too. Like there are so many people I'm suppose to help and what not But I feel like the person really converting is me!! So It's good:) I love you mom! You look so beautiful!! I miss you like crazy. But I hope you have fun having one daughter back:) I'll talk to you next week k:) LOVE YOU
