Hmm where to start with my week... Well I must say it wasn't my favorite week.. But I did see a lot of miracles that happened! To start off our Mission made a goal to get 200 lessons with a member present. So every missionary worked their butt off this week to try and reach that goal:) I would like to say that me and my companion contributed 7 of those lessons to the score. It may not seem a lot.. but here it is!! Missionaries usually get 2 or 3.. So 7 is big:) But anyways that was our focus this week!!
On Wednesday the Sister Training Leaders ended up coming into Zgrad for splits! And this time I got paired up with the Russian Training Leader... Ahh I'm not going to lie I was a little intimidated.. But I was also excited because see what it was like to serve with a native. I was a little down from the day before because I got yelled at by a bunch of Bobs (who were members) because I can't speak or understand what their saying. So talk about self confidence getting shot down.. But it was ok! Because I learned form it.. haha so anyways I was a little nervous too going around with a Russian and not being able to understand her. But we actually had a lot of fun!! Our goal that day was to get two lessons with a member present. And we had them both scheduled with members and everything. Then that morning both of them cancelled.. In my head I was like no we made a goal to get two we have to!! So I did everything in my power to find more people to teach. We literally called like 10 different people and no one could meet. One of our investigators kept saying she could and then she couldn't. That was frustrating because we had to keep calling the member and tell her.. But anyways so when we left the apartment we had no lessons planned. So we were going to go contacting. Around 3ish we get a call from one of our investigators. She said she can meet in a 20 minutes at the church. So were calling everyone trying to find a member and no one could! Literally 5 minutes before we get a call from a member that said she could! So there was one lesson with a member present! After that we went contacting and the member came with us. I felt stupid a little bit because my comp was trying to make me role play and say all this stuff that I didn't know how to say.. and I felt like I didn't know anything.. So my confidences got shot again.. haha but we had to go back to the church to open it for the other sisters and as were in there talking a lady walks in. She was coming for english group, but she was an hour early. So... Since we had a member with us we were went up to her and asked would you like to hear a little bit about out church:) The lady said yes, of course! And we ended up teaching the Restoration!!! and now we have a lesson set up with her tomorrow.:) All I have to say is Miracles happen. We left our apartment with no appointments and had a goal for two lessons with a member present. And because of our faith, god made it happen. I was really grateful for that experience. And it's cool because now we have a new investigator:) But that was probably the most exciting thing about this week. We had another lesson with Valentina! She's awesome and wants to be baptized so bad.. Just the word of wisdom that's a problem.. So we are trying to get that figured out before June 14th!! But anyways I love you all!
