I can't believe it is December??? That's insane?? Well this morning I spent 8 hours on a train to Moscow because my comp had something wrong with her visa. So last night we get a call that says, "Hey you got to get on a train tomorrow morning!!" So here I am in Moscow:) haha but it's so weird being back. Even though I've only been gone for like 2 weeks haha which feels way longer.. But Man Voronezh is awesome! it's completely different then Moscow. No metro.. Only Marshootkas.. Which are like little vans that you stuff with as many people as you can and everyone is dead silent which makes contacting ten times fun haha. The members here are great:) I met this one bob the other day who taught us our to make some food and she was probably one of the most sassiest people I've ever met!! I just love Russian people so much hahaha I can't even explain there personalities;) For Thanksgiving we have the opportunity to eat with out District for 3 hours, which was way fun!! I made my first Thanksgiving meal.. which I must say I was pretty impressed.. Especially when the ingredients here are completely different then in America:) After we ate we had a lesson with one of our investigators who is kinda a little crazy.. all she does is argue with us!! And she does not listen.. We've thought about dropping here, but she just believes everything is true.. I don't know it's a really weird situation?? But we met with her on Thanksgiving which I was really nervous about.. because I didn't want to argue with someone on Thanksgiving.. And when I say argue I mean sit back and listen while she goes off;) haha so I was really praying for just a good lesson where the holy ghost can really touch her. So we decided to talk about the BoM. And I can honestly say that lesson was a miracle!!! She didn't argue or ask millions of questions.. she just listened!!! It was a miracle!!! And she said she felt the spirit:):) I was like THANK YOU HF!!!! haha it was definitely a miracle:) But yeah.. I wish I had more to tell you... But I just want to Thank everyone for there support as I've been out here. I felt all your prayers and I want you to know that they are being heard. Thank you for being examples to me in so many ways and just always lifting me up even when times are hard. I love you all so much!! Have a great week:)
Hey mom!! Sorry I couldn't write this morning. I was on a train to Moscow!! haha turns out my companion had some visa problems and so she has to go on her visa trip. So yeah I get to be in moscow for two days which should be a party:) So anyways how was Thanksgiving?? I bet it was a blast:) We got to have thanksgiving with our district which was fun:) haha other then that not much happened this week. Just trying to find some more people to teach and help these members. I guess the sisters in sokolniki just got a baptismal date which kinda bums me out because I was there for 6 months and nothing happened until right when I left. But yano will see. haha just fingers crossed that I see something before I got home!! But yeah I don't know things are going good! i'm excited for the christmas season:) Me and My comp want to do things to get in the christmas spirit:) I was going to send pics this week but I guess you have to wait until next week.. but anyways! I love you ha thanks for all your support. I love you so much mom I think about how blessed I am for you every day and words don't even describe how much I care about you and dad.
