Week #42 - My Year Mark!!

I don't even know where to begin with this week... It was full of many adventures let me tell you!! Which was great because it entertained me:) So transfers was great! I finally got my new companion who is awesome. She grew up in Salt Lake City and lived in Baltimore for a year. Me and her are a lot alike so I'm way stoked. We got to hang out in Moscow for a couple days so I got to show her around. We went inside St. Basils and sang inside haha it was the coolest thing!! Then I saw lenins dead body.. so creepy... haha and yeah! Then friday she went on her visa trip and I got to hang out with a greenie which was way cool!!! So yeah I was in Moscow tell Saturday morning...

Saturday Morning the elders came and helped get our bags to the train station. As were getting on the train it turns out that my information on my ticket was incorrect.. officeniki.. so they wouldn't let me on the train.. Long story short we missed it.. And nobody would help us!! So I'm pretty frustrated.. And we go into this cafe that only has these two guys there. We sit down and this lady comes and kicks us out because were not allowed to lounge there.. So one of these guys follows me out and tries to talk to us.. I was in a bad mood so I was just like leave us alone. So he left.. haha and we went and sat down in like a waiting room and I just started praying and trying to calm myself down. Then I started reading in the BoM. as I'm doing that I notice someone sits down next to me and is just starring at me. Then I hear this guy across from him talking about it.. In my head I was just like oh gosh.. no!!!!!!!! I look up and there were these boys looking at us and talking about us. So I looked back down for a second.. look back up and there is more of them... look back down for a little longer and look back up and there's even more of them!!!! 8 Russian men were circling us and just starring at us... I've never felt so awkward in my entire life... Finally they start talking to us haha and once they found out we were American... they would not leave us alone!! So we talked and talked.. turns out they were all going home from the army. And as we were talking to more show up with roses and handed them to us... Then they made us sing for them? They sang for us? On of them kept begging me to come home with him... I told him I was a missionary and that we are here to serve and what not and he was so mad!! He's like I can't wait for you.. I want you right now!!!! haha I was dying. Then they gave us like there army pin? and bought us Yogurt.. they tried to get us to go "walk with them" but we said no. They also wouldn't stop touching us... ah it was awful haha but so funny at the same time.. So we sat with them for 3 and a half hours until it was time to get on our train.. And they decided to help us with our bags haha so just picture it.. two girls walking with roses in our hands.. with 8 army men circling us as they carry our bags to our train... It was the funniest thing!! I was dying!!! hahaha so that made my day;) I just thought it was funny that HF made us miss a train.. to hangout with these Russian men?? Ok whatever you would like HF!!! So yeah:)
