SO to start off my letter I just want you to picture something that happened to me last Monday.. So our time was up and it was time to get back to work.. Were at this beautiful park with trees everywhere and we had actually just gotten off of the phone with the AP's haha they sang us a song and just wanted to check up on us? But anyways so were walking down this road and these two guys are ridding rollarblades (which is way popluar here) and they have the shirts off and what not because it's super hot. And the one closest to me has a water bottle full of water.. and as they past us he throws the entire thing in my face.. So picture me just getting water thrown right into my face and now I'm completely wet.. My companion just starts laughing and then I begin laughing because I'm like did that really just happened??? I wanted to chase them and trip them or something though!!! Now I can say I've gotten water thrown in my face right? So yeah they just road off laughing?? That's my story:)
Another thing I would like to tell you this week is a meeting we had with that girl I met at english group the day I did my visa trip. Yano the one that was a huge miracle!! So she decided to meet with us:) and She brought her friend too which was amazing!! Because she was pretty interested too. The lesson turned out to be really good. When I bore testimony I had never felt the spirit that strongly while bearing testimony. and I knew that both of them felt it too. Afterwards they kept hugging me and telling me thank you. So we commited them to read the intro of the BoM and we didn't set up another meeting because they wanted to read first? Well two days past and I decided to call one of the girls. Turns out she read the intro and the first chapter and beginning the second. I was pumped!! But then she goes I have to tell you something. I go ok?! And she goes you really inspired me... to go back to my church, the orthodox church. My heart dropped and in my head I just yelled WHAT???? NOOOOO!!!!!!! So turns out my testimony not only inspired her.. but inspired her to go back to her church? I don't know how I feel about that.. but whatever. Ha her friend gets back from a trip next week so will see what happens to her. As for this girl she doesn't want to betray her church. I'm secretly hoping she feels a differents when she reads the BoM so hopefully she keeps reading!!
As for Ludmila from last week.. We've been trying to meet all week and her work is just super crazy.. She takes care of bobs and if she's not there then they die.. So ha really hard to meet with her.. Will see though if we can get another appointment. I feel like with every miracle that's happened to me on my mission satan just attacks them like no other!!!!!!! Satan is trying so hard with these Russian people it's not even funny. But we are the tip of the sword fighting against him. and in the end we will win!!!!!
Hello Mum!!
Well ha what a crazy interesting week it's been. I'm kinda happy to say it's over and I get to start another one. Liana was telling me that you were writing her! I love her so much. You have no idea!! But I'm glad you guys have become friends:) Are you excited for school and stuff to start? As for me this week was weird. I felt Satan during my whole week holy cow!! I feel like everything we did he was just fighting and fighting us!! Sometimes I wonder what the 12 apostles were thinking when they decided to send me here. I feel like they should only send their strongest missionaries here and sometimes I feel so weak. You can tell though you can totally feel that this is the place where satan is attacking!! He does not want us to find the elect!! Ludmila the girl from my story last week.. We've been trying to get a hold of her all week, but her work is soo crazy that it's so hard to meet with her.. Then she called on Sunday when I was on the metro and so I didn't answer and then I tried calling her back and no answer... And then something else is she wants to go back to her country and live there with her husband.. So ahhh haha I feel like heavenly father gives us so many miracles, but then satan works so hard on them that things never go through.. But I loved megs talk.. Small and Simple things are great things come to passed. I thought about that a lot this week and I truly believe every ward meg said. So it will be cool after this life to see what happened to all the people I talked to and what not. But yeah the mish is hard ha trying to stay happy and strong. Well mom I hope you have an awesome week. i miss you soo much!! And I love you with all my heart! Talk to you next week k:)
