Hello Hello!! What a great week it was in Z-grad!! We were actually really busy which was awesome:) Haha
Well first off I'm going to talk about splits!! The Sister training leaders came into Zelenograd and helped us out for the day! We had a lot of appointments and a lot of work to do that day. I'm not going to lie I was a little nervous just because I'm the one that's kinda in charge.. But everything worked out great! I was paired up with Dave Hunter's niece! Haha She is super awesome!! Were like the same person ;) So it was fun!! We had a lesson with руфина, which is one of our investigators. We talked about the spirit and the difference between before and after baptism and how we can always have the holy ghost with us. She told us that everyone that is apart of the church has a curtain light about them. In the end we asked her if she would be baptized because I know she knows this is true!!!! But when we asked her she said she doesn't feel worthy enough to have that light and that spirit with her at all times.. AHH I died haha so that is something that we will be working on with her. After that we had a lesson with our bishops daughter... kinda daughter... She is a 16 year old girl and she is getting adopted into this incredible family. The problem is though is she doesn't believe in god.. We had a whole lesson on the Restoration and you could just tell she did not want to hear it. In the end we talked to her about prayer and she told us that when she was little she prayed to god every day after her parents had died and she never received an answer.. So she believes there is no god. She also believes in like vampires and all that crazy stuff haha but it's just hard because I know she doesn't want to hear about the church. Especially when the family is shoving it down her throat.. I'm the type that doesn't like to force things on people.. So my goal is just to love her:) Because since I can't speak Russian I know I can love! So that's what I'm going to do:) Haha on Sunday though she showed me a tattoo that she got.. haha which I'm the wrong person to show that too because I was like ah I like it, thats way cool... yeah bad example.. haha but I guess her family doesn't know and I'm the only one she has shown.. She will see what happens in the end with her!
Really quick I want to tell you about this family we met. They are members and were baptized in January. They are from Pakistan and there story is so sad.. So of course you know it is a Muslim country and they decided they want to be Christians. Well the Muslims over there didn't like that idea so they threatened to kill there little son. So they ran away and came into Russian and как раз They met the Missionaries:) They were baptized right away which is so awesome:) Their faith is honestly incredible. They speak english decently? but they don't speak any Russian! The church has been taking care of them because they can't work or anything because they are not suppose to be living here.. Which is so awesome that our church will do that for them. Anyways we had the opportunity to take the wife to Moscow for the Relief Society Conference. So we talked to her for a little bit. Apparently she is pregnant.. and The bishop in Moscow is trying to help them get back into Pakistan. So sad.. ;( I can't even imagine what there going through. Made me realize how lucky I am. And that I can't complain anymore.. ha so that's my goal! No more complaining;) They live in our area though so we get to take care of them which I'm super pumped about because they are awesome!!
Well that was basically my week!! A lot more things happened, but I'm to lazy to write it all down!! I met which Dasha finally this week!!!!!!!! She made us lunch which was absolutely incredible!!! She's awesome.. I hope one day I can convert her:) But anyways love you all! Have a great week!!
