Well, this week was a real witness to me prayers for our missionaries are answered, and that they are truly watched over.. I chose not to send this email to everyone on my list this week...but only to a select few people who I knew would appreciate what Kynlie went through. We have spoken to Kynlie's Mission President and she is doing fine, but her companion is very shaken up still. All of the authorities and Area Presidency has been contacted and they have found out that this man was their investigator's ex husband and he is very unstable after losing his job two years ago. They were teaching in a bad area, and were told that they are not to go back to that area. The man kept their paperwork, and so they had to stay in Moscow until it could be assured that he could not find them or locate them through the items he had, and they could get their paperwork replaced. The Mission President gave them a blessing following the incident, and they were able to stay in Moscow for a few days with him last week. Please do not put this out on any social media sources, as we have been asked to keep it under wraps. Thank you for your prayers for our missionaries, and KEEP THEM UP!!! Love to you all!!!

What a week it has been in зеленоград... Mom don't freak out.. I'm about to tell an awesome story that is a little sketchy.. But I'm safe so you don't have to worry about it:)
Me and Sister Rebentish were meeting with one of our investigator at her house. When she made the appointment she told us that she could only meet during the daytime because her husband would not be home. We didn't think much of it, so we were like okay sounds good! We went over to her house and she was showing us some of her old clothes. As we were talking, we hear the door open. Immediately her face froze and you could tell it was not a good thing. She looked at Sister Rebentish and I and told us to be quiet. So went to the door and told him to leave because she had guests over. But of course her husband walks into the bedroom and sees us standing there. He looks right at me and commanded for my passport and documents. Me and Sister Rebentish just had a blank stare and didn't know what to do. Over and over again he kept asking us to show him our passports. I don't know Russian obviously so I just kept looking at him not knowing what to say. His wife starts freaking out and yelling at him to leave us alone. Sister Rebentish told him that we would show him our Blue books (which has our visa, copy of our passport, and some other random stuff) and as we did he took them from our hands and walked into another room. гулнара was yelling even louder at him, telling him to give us back our blue books. He called someone, but I'm not really sure who, he claims it was the police. As he was talking on the phone we started putting on our coats and shoes. When he saw us doing that he ran and shut the door and locked it. Then again, commanded us for our passports. He grabbed my bag so I was like, "ah no!" and I walked up and grabbed it from him. гулнара was yelling at us telling us to call someone and get some help. Sister Rebentish was able to call the Elders and as she was doing that he looks at me and pulled out a gun. It was a hand gun. The whole time he is starring at me.. haha so in my head I'm like so were getting serious now? He also started speaking English and told us that he knows everything we are saying. His wife kept on blocking us away from him and he would just shove her out of the way. He kept telling us that he was going to call the police, but never did. I would have felt more safe if the police would have been there anyways. Once Sister Rebentish got off the phone with the Elders the man kept yelling at us and threatening us. And for some reason he decided to let us go after he yelled at us. As he was opening the door he got right in our faces and told us that if we ever talk to his wife or come into his house again then he would kill us. As he unlocked the door and as we were getting in the elevator he kept telling us that he would kill us. As the elevator doors were shutting I just gave him a thumbs up and that was it. The whole time his wife was crying and yelling at him. And that is our story. We ended up having to stay in Moscow for two days because in our blue books was our address.. My companion was super emotional. The whole time I'm thinking that was awesome!! Just because I knew the lord was looking out for us. And while we were in there I wasn't even thinking about how my life was at risk. I was thinking about гулнара and how she has to live with that... Ugh She was a great investigator.. but everything happens for a reason right?? Haha on saturday we had to go to the police station. And of course the police think were just stupid American girls and they honestly didn't care what happened to us. My comp was getting all mad, but I was like this isn't America?? But by the end we ended up teaching 4 policemen:) Haha gave them BoM and one of them said he would come to church! So that was really interesting and awesome. But yeah that was my week. Super Crazy, but a great adventure. Haha I've never been threatened with a gun before... Welp have a great week!! Love you all!!
